COMFORT
Stephen Atkins, Manassas, Virginia- March 2010
Dear Cruiserworks,
There are three things that you don't want to skimp on when it comes to riding and they are helmets, gloves and boots. If your going down, witch you think is never going to happen to you , your feet are the first thing that's hitting the road and you better have on some good boots. I bought my Cruisersworks ten , twelve years ago and I still have the same boots that I just had resoled for the third time.I have never had wet feet in the 200,000 miles of touring I've been on.The leather of these boots are top quality which is what sold me on these boots when I bought them. These boots will take a lickin and come back kickin and ride in comfort all day and out on the town styling all night, but like anything else I take care of my boots with the leather cream from Cruiserworks that preserves the leather and keeps them water proof and they are always shinning ready for the next ride. Cara received my boots July 02 and have to tell you they are the best boots I have ever owned not only are they all you said they were but much more. They are not only comfortable, look great but are also waterproof, other company’s say there’s are but yours really are. It is wonderful dealing with people that stand behind their product but also treat their customers the way I think a customer should be treated . Was great meeting you at Americade last year, thought I had a problem but you not only showed me how to fix it but also showed me it was not the boots fault. When you get your new stock in hopefully by Americade this year will be looking forward to looking at your new 6” boot, Thanks for being such a wonderful company to do business with and hope to see you at Americade in June.

Good Morning Cara,
I just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know our boots arrived safe and sound.... Actually they arrived last Thursday! Both mine and my wife's fit perfectly! I'm glad I took your suggestion and order them a half size larger. Unfortunately now we will have to wait for about 3 1/2 months before we can really wear them. Like the eastern seaboard of the U.S., we got "pounded' by a snow storm on Sunday - leaving about 14 inches of snow on the ground! Needless to say, the only two wheeled machine I had out was the snow blower!!! The bikes are "sleeping" comfortably in my heated garage, while outside the temperature has been around the minus 10 mark!! Anyway, thanks again for the order - they are definitely THE most comfortable bike boot I've worn, and it will be my pleasure to recommend them to anyone who asks!!
Have a wonderful Christmas and all the best in 2010! Steve Brown

I needed to replace my motorcycle boots but hesitated because they were extremely comfortable. However, last year at Americade (my husband (Rich) and I are both tour leaders) I tried a pair of your boots. Although I doubted they could ever be as comfortable as my old boots, your salesman was right! They are the MOST COMFORTABLE boots I own! Both my husband and I each bought a pair and we agree that they are incredible. Plus, they look so nice, I can wear them with my slacks. Thanks for creating such an outstanding product!
Thank You!

Cara & Jay, Just wanted to let you know that I really got to test your incredible boots out during an 8 day ride. What can I say.....they are fantastic. We were in heavy rain and my feet stayed dry. I didn\'t bringing another pair of boots for the trip and thought I would see just how good these Cruiserworks are.....well, they are above and beyond!!! I love the wicking socks, great feature to have with the boots. My feet where comfortable all day, every day. You can be sure I will let all our students and friends know how good these boots are made. Even when we are on our feet for 10-12 hours a day doing our shows, they are still comfortable! Way to make a great product!!!! Keep up the great work!

Upon realizing that Cruiserworks was a short drive away for me in North Carolina I decided to visit the factory. My feet are hard to fit. I have narrow feet and the usual thicker inserts to make a medium shoe narrow never seem to feel right. I was able to try on various sizes and found the perfect fit. I rode home with my new boots on in the rain. Not only were my feet completely dry when I arrived home the boots felt so comfortable that it was like wearing sneakers. The sole grips the wet pavement perfectly and the boots are much lighter in weight than I expected. It felt easier to control the shifter and rear brake than with my prior Danner combat boots.
I used to sell shoes in high school and college and gained a lot of experience about getting the right fit and also what makes a quality shoe. I would put these boots up against any brand regardless of the price!
The team at Cruiserworks are really bikers and they reflect that in their product but also in their customer service. They will bend over backwards to make sure you have the right fit and model and are completely satisfied. As you know, not all retailers are like this.
Warmest Regards,
David Guinn

I just wanted to let you know that I love my boots!! I am at work and was just sitting here thinking about them. See, I used to ride to work and immediately remove my boots to change into something more work-friendly. Sometimes that means flats or sandals if I am wearing something girly, but I also took my boots off because I didn't think I could last the day walking around my office building in motorcycle boots. Then one day while wearing my new CruiserWorks boots I came in and got right to work; I forgot to change my shoes. Hours later I was still wearing those boots with no ill effects! Now that I have them, I can choose not to change shoes 4 times a day (when I come in, when I leave for lunch, when I come back, when I leave for home, etc, etc, etc....), which leaves more time for me to enjoy my life. I don't even have to worry about them looking too rough for my office dress code-they fit right in with my khakis and slacks. So, thank you very much. My feet don't hurt when I walk, they don't get cold when I ride, and they always grip the road when I need them to.

Mike (RED) Hensley Asheville NC - August, 2008
I have had my Cruiserworks boots for almost 5 years now and I still love them. They still look good and there still water proof in spite of the fact that I have wore them to Daytona Fl for Biketober Fest for 5 years in a row, counting this coming October. I ride, not trailer all the way from my home here in N. C. to Daytona for the weak and then across to the west coast over to Tampa to visit family for a few days and then all the way back to N.C. and yes I hit rain at some point on every trip.
Year before last I was lucky enough to leave Daytona just in time to ride through the heaviest rain storm I had ever seen in my life. Later I found out it was a hurricane that was crossing the state from West to east. I have never been so wet in my life and even though my rain-suite didn't make it through the storm, my Cruiseworks boots did. My feet were the only part of me that stayed dry. You make a quality product and I can only hope that you continue to do so because if these boots ever wear out, another pair of Cruiserworks boots is the only replacement I would ever consider.
Yall stay safe and I hope to see yah soon. Thanks: your friend Mike (RED) Hensley.

I ordered a pair of Men's Defender boots yesterday; they arrived today. I put them on right away, amazed! Fit was perfect- I ordered 1/2 size larger as encouraged, the leather supple and the shoe comfortable immediately. Thanks.

After "experiences" with many sets of engineer-style riding boots over the years, I further explored my options and bought a pair of Cruiserworks® Classics in year 2000; It's been a pleasure to be riding (and walking) with them ever since, about 80,000 miles later. These boots have been entirely functional and durable throughout the gamut of the riding environments, as well as comfortable and good-looking -- and since it doesn't take much to clean them up, I wear them "out on the town", too. They are a superior product. In short, they deliver -- as advertised. You've got a lifetime customer here, and my recommendation to my fellow riders. Thank you so much, and Best Regards.
Jeff Petterson of Grand Forks, ND - July 17, 2007
Just ordered my second pair of Commandos. Wore the first pair daily for several years; rode the lower 48 states (many several times) and put over 100,000 road miles on these great boots. Resoled them once but the "contact points" (shifter, etc) on the tops wore through enough to cause them not to be waterproof anymore. I'll still wear my first pair a few more years, though, because theyre incredible comfortable and we've become pretty good friends.
Mark L. Brown - February 17, 2007
I wanted to write and let you know I love my boots! I wear them all the time. I own a specialty vehicle training school called MOTOMARK1, LLC (www.motomark1.com) and we train street bikes, dirt bikes and ATVs. I have traveled and trained around the world, and ridden cross country ten times and have used Cruiserwork boots. My feet stay dry in the rain, warm in the winter (wearing my Cruiserworks® wool socks) and cool in the summer. I like the boots so much that I have stressed to my instructors this is the most comfortable boot for training and riding. I would encourage anyone that wants a great comfortableand functional riding boot to buy yours. I wear them at work and at home. The only time I don't wear them is when I'm in bed!!! The boots are so great I was able to encourage my fellow State Troopers to buy them also. They liked them so much that the Highway Patrol bought them for the Motor Unit. The guys are loving their boots and living large! Thank you for making a wonderful boot and keep up the good work!!!!!

Sitting here in my office, at my desk, my feet aching from high heels, I found myself daydreaming how I wish Cruiserworks® made a women's high heel/pump. I have never worn a pair of shoes/boots more comfortable than Cruiserworks®. If I could wear my boots to work everyday I would, but I don't think they would be too attractive with my dresses. Anyway, just wanted to let you know how much I loooove your boots. Sincerely!

As we told you at the Honda Hoot 2004, we are very pleased with our Cruiserworks® boots. My wife has a harder to fit calf and foot, and hers fits great. We both found that we put them on new, and they were very comfortable. I have had comfortable riding boots over my 40 some years of riding, but most of the time when I got off to walk around, I suffered. These are different; almost like a hiking boot! We wore them almost daily last summer for 3500 miles to the Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, Sturgis, etc. And at Rushmore, we hiked all over the place in total foot comfort. So, do we tell our riding friends about them? Sure do!

I received my boots this past Friday, and put several hundred miles on them already. I did a lot of research and shopping around before choosing Cruiserworks® and I must admit, everything I've read is true. They fit very nicely and have that broken in feel almost right off the bat. Even though we've had the hazy, hots and humids, they're not uncomfortably hot as one might expect from waterproof boots to be. So far I haven't had the opportunity to find out just how waterproof they are, but since everything else turned out to be true, I'm sure they'll live up to their billing in that respect as well. Another nice touch was a little hand written note on the tag from someone name Josh (if I read it right). A little think like that goes a long way in my book. You'll have some more of my business, and I'm passing the good word around for you. Oh by the way, I forgot to mention they look good too. Thanks!

I have just received my Cruiserworks® Men's Tour boots. I am pleased to get them so quickly. They are lightweight and so comfortable (your directions on correct sizing are very helpful) and they feel great just walking in. I can't wait to ride tomorrow even though it is only to work and back. I am very happy so far with the decision I made to purchase Cruiserworks® boots and I am confident I'll be pleased for years to come. Thanks again and I will definitely pass the word on your boots!
Larry of Kernersville, NC - June 9, 2003
Dear Cruiserworks®, I just had to drop you folks a quick note and let you know that I love the boots (Classic Men's) I just purchased from you at Americade. The sales person was very professional and he made sure I got a proper fit, even though it was very busy at the time. I wore the boots all week both riding and walking and to my surprise the boots do not seem to need to be broken in, they were comfortable right away. I also rode in some heavy rain on my way back home to Kernersville, NC and my feet stayed nice and toasty. I was also pleased to learn that you are a North Carolina company. Keep up the good work folks.

Cara,
I got my Cruiserworks boots yesterday. They look as good as new! I like the improvement to the soles since my last resole, one piece and all black. They look much like the original. Also, the last time I had them resoled, they weren’t even cleaned and polished. Thanks for your help. As always, I recommend these boots to others and will continue to do so.
Have a Merry Christmas!

Cara,
Received my boots back October 12th. Took a week to get the resoling info and then two weeks from the time I sent them to get them back. Listen, you were right, my boots look like brand new!! I want to thank you for resoling my boots. I never expected I would have had a problem like that but you were quick to stand behind your product and I have a lot of respect for that. Like I said before, I have never owned such a comfortable pair of boots.
Thanks again and I will always be wearing Cruiserworks!

In July 2007 I purchases a pair of Cruiser Works Classic Boots in a size 11.5 wide, which in hindsite was probably half a size to small as the boots were always a bit tight to get on and off, which is apparrently a sign of a high instep so I would have been better with a side zip style.
Once on the boots were absolute magic and I wore them with pleasure on my 2007 USA tour where we completed a 10000 mile stint in 7 weeks and I never had wet or sore feet from all the riding and walking to interesting sites. I continue to wear them every time I am on the bike rain, hail or shine. They really are the best and most comfortable boots I have owned in 25 years of riding.
In March 2009 I did some damage to one of the boots which was in all probability caused by the fact that they were a bit small for my foot. I contacted Cruiser Works to see if they could do a repair for me and was totally amazed when they said that they wished to replace the boots as they were concerned that the problem may be an issue with the boot and they wished to correct the problem. We then talked about the correct boot style and size so now should have no further problems.
I think that it is wonderful that there are still a company out there is this time that still really cares about its products and its customers and actually backs up its products with more than just words.
Cruiser Works will be the only place I will be dealing with for my boots in the future and I can assure you I will be spreading the word to all who will listen.
Thank you Cruiser Works.
Kind Regards

Last Spring I had a ride on in Texas and got caught in the rain. After 7 years, and for the first time, one of the boots took on a little water due to a developing crack in a sole. Following the recommended procedure, I shipped the boots to Resole America to have them restored. They never arrived. Not only did the U.S.Postal Service "lose" my boots, they failed (as they so often do) to even offer acknowledgment to their customers. From my end, I was not only pissed but felt I had lost a riding partner. Cruiserworks® has been aware of these inconsistencies and the only resolution came "solely" from Cruiserworks®, though I did not ask for nor expect it -- they replaced my boots at NO CHARGE. That, my friends, is OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE, RELATIONS, and COMMITMENT. You've got a lifetime customer here, and my recommendation to my fellow riders. Thank you so much, and Best Regards.

I had a 4 year old pair of Cruiserworks® Commando Boots that were the most comfortable footwear I have ever owned. The boots got lost on their way to ReSole America in a pre-addressed US mail pouch that ReSole provided. After over 2 months of waiting for ReSole America to propose a resolution, I called Cruiserworks®. Cruiserworks® immediately shipped me a new pair of boots at no cost, saying they would work it out with ReSole America. I have offered to pay if they are unable to work it out. Talk about above and beyond the call of duty. The folks at Cruiserworks® give a whole new meaning to customer service.

A couple of months ago I sent my boots to ReSole America to be resoled. After a few weeks passed and I had not got them back I called ReSole. I was informed there were some supply problems and it could be a couple more weeks. I needed my boots in a couple of days, so Resole got the okay to pull a pair of soles from production and resoled my boots. We split the difference on overnight shipping and I got my boots in time. Things have been pretty busy for me and I have neglected to thank ReSole and Cruiserworks® for the excellent customer service I received. Your boot is the most comfortable boot I have ever worn. I can be on my feet in them all day and feel great. Also, I do not hesitate to tell anyone that IMHO, they are the best boot on the market. The resole job made them as good as new. I probably will have to buy another pair just to have them. Now, if you had a style in rattlesnake skin, I'd buy a pair today. Thanks again!

I work for a huge insurance company, and why can't we treat our customers like you do? First, great website with complete product info and easy access. Second, I can't believe how quickly my boots were shipped - ordered online Tuesday night, shipped on Wednesday, and arrived today, Thursday. UPS allowed me to track my shipment so couldn't wait to get home to "try 'em on." Third, opened the box and was delighted to see a handwritten thank you note from Dan for my order. Fourth, a prize - a free penlight gift and shoe/boot horn and product info that are all much appreciated. Fifth, I have a hard to fit size - narrow width and ½ size availability are two major selling points. Sixth, "Wow" tried 'em on and even vacuumed my den carpet to try them out - yah, a little snug at first but followed your instructions and the longer I walked around the house, the better they felt. Can't believe how lightweight they are. Finally, a friend told me when I bought my bike to buy Cruiserworks® boots. Yep, I screwed up and bought some cheap cycle boots that didn't fit worth a @#&$, and even tried to make them waterproof with some old spray can of silicone. Well, now I know - great fit, great value, and first class service. Thanks for everything and ride safely!

Hello, I just want to say that I have wanted a pair of your boots for 15 years and I finally broke down and got them. What was wrong with me?!!? I LOVE THEM. Keep up the good work.

Keith Bettencourt, Belchertown, MA - May 14, 2007
I got strafed by a wild turkey today and went down at 45 mph. The bike is dinged up but I walked away with just some sore muscles. My Cruiserworks® boots took a licking, scuffing the leather and ripping the ankle buckle clear off the boot. The best part is, the boots stayed on and provided me with complete protection. The Kevlar ankle armor did its job admirably. I've had my Cruiserworks® boots for seven years and have grown very fond of the comfort, and now the protection. Thanks for making a great product!

Dear Cruiserworks®, Just a few months ago I purchased via telephone a pair of your finely made touring boots. Little did I know that soon this purchase was to be of the utmost importance. Two weeks ago I unfortunately experienced a motorcyclists worst nightmare. A full size sedan pulled straight into my lane of travel leaving me with not much more to do than try and get my right leg that was partially raised from the foot pegs took the brunt of my 35 mph impact with the sedan. The E.M.T.s cut the boot off of my right foot, which was rotated 90 degrees right and pointing up 45 degrees. Upon reaching the Emergency Room the attending physician after hearing my description of what happened and after taking a look at the boot that was still on my left foot, stated that the boot is more likely what kept my foot from being sheared off or torn away from the bone any further. I would like to personally thank you for the committment to excellence that you exhibit with the construction of your boot. I feel that I will go on to ride another day thanks to the fine product that your company markets. You definitely have the motorcycle enthusiast at heart. THANK YOU! Just one question! Can I purchase a right-sided replacement to complete my pair? THANKS AGAIN!
Dr. F. Burton, MD of High Point, North Carolina - September 13, 2002
Dear Sir or Madam, I was involved in a fire from a leaking fuel line which engulfed my brand new motorcycle and right foot. I was wearing your boots that I had received only two days before. Although I suffered 2nd degree burns to my ankle and shin, I wanted to let you know that your fine product was probably instrumental in preventing more serious injury. It was only after I removed the boots to get my flaming pants off that my foot was burned. Anyway, thanks for your great product. I intend to order another pair of Touring boots as soon as I heal up. Sincerely

Got my new boots the other day and finally got to ride with them and I have got to say they are SUPER!! I ride a 2002 Yamaha Venture which is a big, top heavy bike. I thought the boots I was wearing were good but they are nothing compared to these new ones. Traction, Comfort and Confidence inspiring for handling this big bike. Phenomenal!
Chuck of Seattle, Washington - May 8, 2003
I just wanted to tell you how amazing these boots are. There is a hill here that all local bikers avoid because it is very steep and it has three lights and it is impossible to hit all three of them green. Of course this means you must stop and play with the clutch, gas, and brakes. You know the drill. Anyway with these boots I was absolutely astounded when I found that I could just stop and actually hold my bike with just my feet!!! Yes it does take some effort but the soles grip the road like iron! Thanks for a fabulous boot!

Well, it's time for a new pair of riding boots. Since the
last time we ordered online with you, I thought that I would
try out some other boots. I was very happy with my first pair
of Cruiserboots® and thought that I could find something like
them at a riders shop. So I went out to the local shops to
try on boots. One didn't have any women's boots at all and
the other only carried sizes up to 8.5. I wear a women's 10.
I also ride to work and another of my requirements was that
the boots had to nice looking to be able to wear to the office.
That cut down on the selection even more. Most of the Men's
boots had all sorts of stuff on them which would not work
at the office. Of the two styles left, which I tried on, they
were too big across my foot and then bit into the back of
my heel. So, here I am again. It's a nice boot, fits good
the first time, and looks good at the office. Thanks!

I couldn't believe I spent $200+ for boots. Yeah, I heard the sales hype & fell for it. So, when I wore my new boots out of the tent at Daytona I figured those boots would be worn to church only. What a surprise I had coming - they are my FAVORITE BOOTS. Okay, they were comfortable, but I bet they were waterproof. Got caught in a downpour and my feet were DRY - bone dry. I'M SO EXCITED I CAN'T STAND IT. Now, I lost the sample cream you gave me at Daytona. Can I buy some? Please let me know as these boots and I are in it for the long haul. Thank you so much for your hype.

We purchased a pair of your waterproof boots for my wife and myself this year. We wore them on our 6 week, 7800 mile trip this summer, which was the wettest trip we have been on. We rode in what seemed like rain everyday. But your product was as advertised...our feet never did get wet. We have and will continue to recommend your boots to our friends and fellow riders. Thanks for the Great Boot!
P. Hartwick of Asheville, NC - August 9, 2004
In June of this year, I left from my home outside Asheville, NC, for a 10-day, 3,000-mile tour of upstate NY, the Green Mountains of Vermont, the White Mountains of New Hampshire and the Maine coastline. The day I left, I was careful to cover the saddlebags, tankbag and myself with rain gear. Shod with my trusty leather boots (circa 1983) I hit rain within the first 100-miles and rode in it for the next 400 that day, and 200-miles more the next day, finally riding out of it close to Binghamton, NY. As usual, my feet were soaked, burning and the boots squelched when I walked. Having experienced this phenomenon for all 34+ years of my riding experience, the discomfort was nothing new. But, likewise, it wasn't pleasant either. I hit the last day of Americade 2004 in Lake George, NY, and, at the urging of a friend and fellow rider, Rich Rothschild (familiar with seeing my leather-stained socks draped over rocks, tree branches and motel airconditioners), I stopped into the Cruiserworks® exhibit in the annex hall and tried on a pair of the Men's' zip-up touring boots. Wow! Complete with a pair of Coolmax over the calf socks, I thought I'd died and gone to motorcyclists' Footwear Heaven! I have to admit that I grimaced at the price (but then, I'm a che . . . a frugal guy when it comes to spending) but in the end the comfort and fit won out . . . that, and the prospect of dry feet while riding in the rain. To my welcome surprise, my friend Richard was absolutely right about the Cruiserworks® boots! Since then, I have hit torrential downpours in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Michigan and Kentucky, with rain so incredibly heavy that even the trucks were pulling over (me as well), and my feet have stayed perfectly dry and comfortable!! Plus, the boots don't get heavier due to water absorption! For me, this constitues a virtual revolution in riding comfort. Now, if it looks like rain when I start out on a trip, the old dread of wet feet and the attendant discomfort is blissfully absent. You can only appreciate the significance of that if you ride and have ridden hundreds of miles with wet, soggy boots and socks. I have. I don't miss it. Bottomline: To you and the whole Cruiserworks® organization . . . THANK YOU!!! . . . for a product that does exactly what it claims to do. The irony is that I live in North Carolina, the boots are made in Charlotte, and I had to go all the way to Lake George, NY, to discover them!! Trust me, I'd ride from here to Timbuktu for a pair of Cruiserworks® boots. They are worth every mile. You folks rock! Best regards, A True Cruiserworks® convert and evangelist.

About six weeks ago I bought a pair of your boots. I had been thinking about doing so for several years. I just wish I had done so sooner. They were so comfortable from the first day and I liked them so much, I talked my wife into getting a pair, as well as two other friends. This past weekend a group of eighteen people when on a thousand mile four day trip in the mountains of eastern Tennessee and western North Carolina. It rained three of the four days. The only people with dry feet were the four of us with Cruiserworks® boots. Everyone else was using gators, waterproof socks, or grocery bags, while we just had on our Cruiserworks®. It still amazes me how truly comfortable and waterproof these boots are. I would bet that the rest of our group will be ordering boots since they all asked for your website on our last day together. I for one will be a customer for life. Thank you for making such a fine product.
H.W. - December 4, 2002
You probably get tired of reading these, but your Cruiserboots® have served me so well for almost three years and I have to send my word of praise. Hot, cold, wet or dry, my feet are comfortable. The combination of your boots and socks has seen hot, humid days of cruising as well as cold, wet days with nary a problem. Got caught in a huge thunder dumber in the North Carolina Mountains coming down off the Blue Ridge last summer. Even my Gericke Taureg Gore-tex super jacket gave up, but not your boots and socks. When I finally reached my stopover motel for the evening, the only thing dry was my feet. I don't think the boots would be so well traveled if they didn't travel so well. My longest day so far is 750 miles. Didn't even begin to test the comfort of the boots. To make things even better, I can walk around all day in them if I'm making frequent stops to tromp around a park or explore a trail. Thanks. Beth Veach, The boots I bought today at Americade performed as you promised. I rode 210 miles in the rain and my feet were dry. I wish the same could be said regarding my "waterproof gloves." Thanks for the comfortable and dry boots.
