Half-Throttle.com Tour Boot Review

This is a review of the CruiserWorks Men’s Tour Boot. I was surprised by how much I liked it. To film my adventures I spend a lot of time off the bike setting up the camera. Which means hiking and walking around often. So personally I would prefer something that laced up and was more comfortable to walk in. But for most riders that wouldn’t be a concern.

They are great boots, and as I trudged through the mud and small creeks on the way to Tigre Salvaje, I was very impressed with their ability to keep the water out, and my feet dry.

It rains often in Panama, and I have loved getting home from a ride in the pounding rain with dry feet.

The boots are made in America and pass the quailty standards of the Department of Defense and the Professional Firefighters Association. Such a high quality product does come at a price, the boots cost $325. But if you spend a lot of time riding, then you might as well have something you are going to love wearing. Safety gear that you hate isn’t very safe when you end up leaving it at home.

Rumor has it that CruiserWorks is working on a boot for adventure riders. I’m hoping to review that one in the future as well.
